Tbirds Cruise Historic San Diego Sites

Several Thunderbird members polished their classic Tbirds (and a beautiful 1932 Ford roadster!) to cruise together from Presidio Park to the San Diego Mission, a National Historic Landmark founded in 1769.

Members with and without Tbirds joined in the park for a brief meeting and lots of catching up with friends before rolling out. Our journey began Sunday, March 24, at 1pm at Presidio Park in San Diego. Presidio Park is adjacent to Old Town, San Diego, where some of our oldest buildings are.

The classic cars leisurely rolled through historic homes in Presidio, Mission Hills, past the Ford replica building, through Hillcrest, University Heights, and the Old Trolley Barn Park, North Park, Kensington, and then north to the Mission, also known as San Diego de Alcala, in Mission Valley.

The weather was fine and several new members expressed how much fun they had. That’s what we’re here for!

Come meet the club and see the Thunderbirds at Motorcars on Main Street in Coronado on April 28, 2024!
